Welcome to the Tent Mansion.
Camping doesn't have to mean cold, cramped and sleeping on a rock. "Tent Mansion" is Armel's joking name for his own very comfortable setup — one example of how good you can make it. Yours doesn't have to look like that. Comfort is allowed.
Start with what you have. Learn. Upgrade over time.- We'll help you think through what to bring — and what you may not need yet.
- Experienced folks help newcomers get set up. Nobody is left struggling alone.
- Kids welcome. First-timers especially welcome.
The Table
Shared meals. Good food. Community around the table.
Food gets shared out here — closer to a community cookout than a catered event. People bring ingredients, drinks, snacks, supplies, whatever they've got. Eating together is where strangers turn into people you'd call.
